The same card, two markets: the JP sold median (Mercari JP / Yahoo! Auctions JP, converted to USD) against the US sold median (eBay US), completed sales only. Card pages track each market on its own and never compare them — this is the one page that does, so every assumption can sit next to the arithmetic.

What this spread is — and is not
Inclusion rule: a card is listed only when both sides rest on enough dated, deduplicated sales to print bare (MEDIUM confidence or better, not flagged suspect, per the methodology). One-sided or thin-sample cards are excluded, never estimated.
The spread is raw arithmetic — US median minus JP median, nothing else. Buying from Japan in practice goes through a proxy or forwarding service, and proxy service fees, domestic JP shipping, international shipping and any import charges are not included; those costs vary by service and order and routinely consume a meaningful slice of a small spread. This page will never estimate them for you, and nothing here is a suggestion to buy anything.
