Privacy notice

v1 — under legal review. This is a plain-language description of what this site stores, written by the person who runs it. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer yet, and it is deliberately called a notice rather than a policy until it has been. It describes what the site does today; if that changes, this page changes with it.

The short version

This site has no accounts you need, no ads, and no third-party analytics. The only personal information it can hold is an email address you typed into a form yourself — and if you have given us one, nothing has been sent to it, because sending is switched off.

What we store, and only this

If you sign up to the newsletter, we store:

• Your email address. That is the whole of it. There is no name field, no birthday field, and no password — signing in, when it opens, is a one-time link sent to your address, so there is no secret of yours for anyone to steal.
• A record of your consent: that you ticked the box, when you ticked it, and which page you ticked it on. That record is append-only — we add to it, we never rewrite it — because the only honest proof that you agreed is a log that cannot be edited afterwards.

That information lives in one database, run by us on Cloudflare, and nowhere else. It is not in our public files, not in our code, not in anything this site publishes or hands to a search engine, and not in any download. A gate on every build checks that no email address has leaked into the published site, and refuses to publish if one has.

Nothing has been sent to you

Email sending is switched off at the account level and has never been switched on. That means the newsletter has not gone out, no confirmation message has been sent, and sign-in by emailed link is not open yet. When you sign up today you are joining a list that has not started — which is exactly what the signup form says, because a signup that implies a confirmation email is on its way when it is not would be a lie told to a person who just trusted us.

We do not share it. There is no "but"

Your address is not sold, rented, swapped, or handed to an advertiser, a data broker, an analytics company, or a mailing-list provider. There is no third-party form service in the middle: the form posts to this site. If that ever has to change — a mail provider is the realistic case, since sending email eventually requires one — this page will say who and why before it happens, not after.

One exception worth naming rather than burying: the signup form runs Cloudflare Turnstile, an anti-spam check, which is a script loaded from Cloudflare on that page only. It exists to keep bots from stuffing the list, it sets no tracking cookie and follows you nowhere, and it is the only third-party script anywhere on this site. Your address is not part of what it sees.

Getting it deleted

Email contact@palworldprices.com from the address you signed up with and ask. We delete the address itself and keep only a dated marker saying that a consent existed and was ended — with no address attached to it. We keep that marker for one reason: it is the record that proves we had permission while we had it, and destroying that record would destroy the proof along with it. There is nothing to log in to and no hoop: one email, and it is done.

What the rest of the site records about you

Nothing that identifies you. There are no cookies for tracking, no third-party analytics, and no identifier of any kind — the site counts a handful of anonymous actions and one coarse "have you been here before" word, and it obeys Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control by sending nothing at all. That counting includes the signup form: it records that a signup was seen, attempted, and succeeded or failed, as four running totals with no address and nothing joinable to one attached. The feedback form is separate and describes its own storage on its own page: what you type there is stored and read by a person, with your email only if you choose to give one.
